Our commitment to ESG
CWT’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment is central to how we think and act at CWT. Our ESG strategy guides our approach, focuses our efforts and helps us deliver on what we set out to achieve: impact that is both positive and meaningful. It is important to us that we focus on the areas of most importance to CWT and our stakeholders. To understand their views, we regularly engage with our employees, customers and suppliers when deciding on the challenges and opportunities to address.
Environmental stewardship
Environmental stewardship is part of CWT’s core strategy, culture, and day-to-day activities. We have a proactive approach to environmental challenges, brought to life through our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative and as signatory to the United Nations Global Compact. We undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility both within and beyond CWT, and partner across the industry to develop and share climate-positive technologies.

Respect for human rights
We uphold individual human rights across all our operations by respecting regulations relating to the number of working hours, working conditions, and fair remuneration and for those who work on our behalf and we expect the same from each of our business partners.
We do not tolerate the use of child labor, forced labor, or any other form of modern slavery. We take all reasonable steps to eradicate any such practices globally and never knowingly do business with a supplier or any other business partner involved in these areas.
